If you are interested in volunteering and getting your conference
fee at a discounted rate for our West Coast Conference, we would
love to hear from you! We have two categories of volunteers (Category
1—number 1,3 and 4 below). Category 2—number 2 below
(General Hospitality) in this volunteer role you will miss ½
of the conference workshops.
1. Transportation - picking presenters up at
the airport and taking them to their hotels or the conference
site. After the conference has ended, driving presenters from
their hotel to the airport. (Local volunteers only)
2. General Hospitality (Registration Table/Information
Table) There will be a need for two people at the conference registration
area at all times. After conference registration is complete,
this area will become the conference information area and it will
still need two individuals to man it. Those that man this area
will be in a rotation so that they can still enjoy the at least
half of the conference workshops and all the general sessions.
This area will need to be staffed from Pre-Conference day and
throughout the entire conference.
3. Workshop Monitor/Proctor (Workshop Assistant)
- helping the Workshop Presenters with their needs in the classroom,
such as monitoring the time, handing out and collecting workshop
evaluations, etc. (We will try to place you in workshops of your
choice.)
4. AMFM Office Assistant - assisting conference
staff and Presenters in many ways such as making copies, locating
other AMFM staff, etc.

Once you have been selected as one of our volunteers you will
be emailed or sent a letter with a “registration”
code so that you may register online for the conference and the
workshops that you would like to attend.
As a Volunteer, your spouse may attend at the current AMFM Member
